Your Role
In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for performing incoming inspections on raw materials and components as well as managing shipping and receiving operations. Your work will ensure that all materials meet our rigorous quality standards and that shipments are prepared and executed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain adherence to environmental management systems and quality control standards.
- Communicate effectively during shift changeovers and escalate issues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Proactively identify safety, quality, and productivity concerns and report hazardous conditions observed.
- Read blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to understand quality and material requirements.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and components using approved inspection methods and equipment.
- Perform dimensional and functional testing, approve or reject materials, and accurately document inspection results.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming materials while following safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Scan, label, count, and verify materials and orders to ensure accurate inventory and transactions.
- Follow environmental, quality, and safety standards while identifying and reporting potential issues or hazardous conditions.
- Communicate effectively during shift changes and escalate safety, quality, or productivity concerns as needed.
Physical Attributes:
- Stand for extended periods, with frequent lifting of 20-30 lbs and maximum lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to production machinery, chemicals, and various warehouse conditions.
- Fine motor skills are required for handling small parts and operating equipment efficiently.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6AM- 2PM
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection and shipping/receiving roles is highly desirable.
- Any technical or vocational training
- Familiarity with inspection tools and shipping documentation procedures.
- Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Range for this position: $17 -$27 per hour
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
