About this role

Financial Counselor - CFP/CFA

Location:  Concord, New Hampshire
Supporting:  New Hampshire National Guard

Help New Hampshire National Guard Service Members and families build the financial readiness that supports mission readiness.

Military readiness starts long before a Service Member reports for duty. Financial stress, unexpected expenses, deployment-related changes in income, retirement decisions, and the complexities of military and federal benefits can directly affect the readiness of Service Members and their families.

LMR Technical Group is seeking an experienced  Financial Counselor  to support Soldiers, Airmen, and their families across the New Hampshire National Guard. This position combines individual financial counseling, financial education, retirement planning, deployment readiness, and outreach to help members make informed financial decisions throughout their military careers.

The PWS specifically requires the financial professional to hold a current  Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)  credential.

Why this role matters

National Guard members face a financial environment that is different from both traditional active-duty military service and civilian employment. Many balance military service with civilian careers while navigating changing benefits, mobilizations, military pay, federal employment, retirement systems, education benefits, and family responsibilities.

Your expertise will help Service Members and families understand those decisions before they become problems, strengthening both household financial stability and overall force readiness.

If you enjoy helping people make complex financial decisions understandable and actionable, this is an opportunity to make a direct difference in the lives of military families.
