The Opportunity

As a Complex Claims and Settlement Director, you will provide strategic legal support and advice across various areas of law, confirming compliance and minimizing legal risks for the organization. Within our Risk & Regulatory practice, you will focus on delivering comprehensive legal solutions and guidance to internal stakeholders and clients, collaborating with different teams to drive business objectives.

As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions while overseeing multiple projects. You will play a crucial role in shaping client engagements and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Your role involves maintaining PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together. You will be expected to cultivate potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength.

In this role, you will develop new ideas and solutions, drive thought leadership, and promote technological advances. You will identify market gaps and convert opportunities into success for the firm, adhering to professional and technical standards and the firm's code of conduct.

Responsibilities

- Providing strategic legal guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients across various industries
- Collaborating with teams to drive business objectives while minimizing legal risks and confirming compliance with regulations
- Leading the development of innovative legal solutions and structures to address complex claims and settlements
- Promoting technological advances and digital tooling to enhance legal service delivery
- Cultivating potential in others through mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment
- Translating vision into actionable strategies that inspire teams and shape client engagements
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
- Developing policies and guidelines that align with professional and technical standards
- Utilizing analytical thinking and systemic approaches to solve legal challenges creatively
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to support legal managed services initiatives

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Law/Legal Studies, Marketing
- Demonstrating strategic leadership in complex claims and settlements

- Cultivating executive-level client relationships and satisfaction

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
