Position Title: Maintenance Engineer I
Summary: The Maintenance Engineer I supports routine maintenance activities, troubleshoots equipment issues, and assists in the repair, installation, and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. This entry-level role works under direct supervision to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems. Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Support repair and installation of machinery and facility components. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior engineers and maintenance staff.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Conditions: Industrial or facility environment with exposure to machinery and tools. Physical activity may be required, including lifting and standing.
