Description
● Review and pull information for all customer applications in Bectran daily. This includes running D&B and SOS reports, and reviewing bank information. If they qualify for Tier 1, the clerk will send them to the Credit Manager (CM). For requests over $20K, they will follow up on references to gather information timely before sending to the CM. This will relieve pressure on managers and expedite customer onboarding.
● Credit Fax/Email Assistance: Route emails to the proper location to save the four assistants from covering this for several hours each day.
● Key ACH Payments: Handle these payments over time to relieve pressure on cash management.
● Water Heater Credits: Assist with this task to support the credit assistants who recently took over this responsibility from accounting.
● Priority Invoices: Track and follow up on priority invoices sent to AP to support the credit assistants.
● Stale Credit Approvals: Follow up on these approvals to help improve sales and assist AP with catching up. ● Sales Tax Exemptions: Request and validate these certificates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
● High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred.
● Prior experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service is a plus.
● Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional, customer-focused approach.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
