We are looking for a proactive, high-energy Building Automation Controls Service Technician who thrives in an autonomous, fast-paced environment. The Mission: Advanced Diagnostics, Optimization, and Client Partnership
You will be the frontline technical expert, taking ownership of sophisticated HVAC control architectures and Building Automation Systems (BAS) across commercial, industrial, and institutional sites.
Core Responsibilities
- Dynamic Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within customer DDC systems and HVAC controls through high-priority spot service.
- Service Agreement Delivery: Execute Technical Support Agreements (TSAs) according to Setpoint’s elite procedural and quality standards.
- Client Empowerment: Train facility operators and build enduring customer relationships that turn clients into long-term partners.
- Growth & Value Identification: Uncover opportunities for system upgrades, hardware retrofits, and new TSAs to optimize customer operations and drive business growth.
- Project Lifecycle Support: Assist with project planning, system checkout, startup, turnover documentation, device requisitions, and manpower coordination.
- Emergency Response Readiness: Participate in periodic 24/7 on-call emergency rotations and warranty support.
- Territory Reach: Occasional out-of-state travel to support critical customer sites and specialized installations.

Qualifications & Credentials
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of hands-on HVAC controls and/or building automation experience, or an Associate degree / technical diploma in HVAC, Electronics, or Building Automation.
- Platform Expertise: Prior experience with Delta Controls , Tridium Niagara, or comparable direct digital control (DDC) systems is highly preferred.
- Technical Breadth: Strong background in systems integration, electrical schematics, network protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus), and mechanical HVAC operations.
- Customer Focus: Proven track record of outstanding customer service and professional communication.
