Sr. Systems Manager, Supply Chain

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Systems Manager to support our Supply Chain Organization by leading the software development initiatives of key Tesla supply chain applications. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all of Tesla’s Supply Chain Management Team. The role requires the ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships with our technical engineers, supply chain, finance, internal audit, and vendor onboarding teams, as you lead respective software development lifecycle from requirements articulation through feature deployment. You will interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including independent contributors as well as executives on a regular basis and hence require the ability to perform hands on operational tasks as well as strategize and communicate on longer term complex solutions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing as well as presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, drive desired outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions inside and outside Tesla.

Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for software products in supply chain, identifying opportunities and aligning them with business operations and leadership goals
Build the product roadmap from customer needs through user interviews, surveys, and stakeholder collaboration
Drive simplification and modernization of supply chain operations through AI, automation, integrations, and emerging technologies
Lead scalable enterprise applications from ideation to deployment, including requirements, feature prioritization, and iterative development, ensuring alignment with Tesla’s strategic goals
Document business requirements with use cases, process workflows, and dependencies, and propose technical solutions
Program manage software rollouts including user acceptance training, performance monitoring, and iteration based on operational metrics
Ensure AI solutions comply with Tesla ethical guidelines and internal policies, with transparency and accountability

Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability (eg. Information Systems Management, Computer Science)
8+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise applications, business systems, product management with evidence of successful software product implementation throughout the software development lifecycle (e.g. software product manager)
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, with experience implementing or transforming enterprise systems that support them
Experience driving process automation, workflow optimization, system integrations, and digital transformation
Working knowledge of generative AI, AI agents, and intelligent automation, with the ability to apply them to practical enterprise supply chain problems
Strong product mindset with experience building roadmaps, prioritizing investment, defining outcomes, and measuring business value
Proven ability to influence supply chain, finance, legal, and engineering stakeholders and communicate clearly with both senior leaders and technical teams

Expected Compensation $136,000 - $204,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
