We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated IT professional to join our growing team at our Felinfach Whey Processing Factory in West Wales and play a key role in shaping the future of production IT and digitalisation on site. How you will make an impact

Working as part of our production IT team, you'll be responsible for ensuring stable, secure and effective manufacturing systems while helping accelerate digitisation initiatives across the site. Working closely with operational teams and technical experts, you will drive improvements that enhance visibility, efficiency and performance.

- Ensure availability, performance and security of MES and production IT systems supporting site operations.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement and digitisation initiatives across manufacturing processes.
- Act as a key contributor to system design, testing, training and implementation activities.
- Manage MII user access, permissions and governance activities.
- Collaborate with site stakeholders, SAP super users and central Arla experts to optimise manufacturing solutions.

What will make you successful

You are a proactive and self-motivated IT professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and building strong relationships across technical and operational teams. You have a degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, alongside 2-5 years' experience within IT systems engineering, IT administration or production IT environments.

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong technical knowledge of SAP and manufacturing systems, alongside an understanding of SQL concepts, Power BI and Excel reporting tools. Experience with LEI, Intouch, RMS and MII would be highly beneficial, together with a strong understanding of production operations, KPI reporting and the interaction between business processes and IT systems. Understanding how MES systems link is paramount to the role, facilitating system maintenance, improvement and development.

You are collaborative with strong interpersonal skills, being able to develop relationships across site and within global IT teams. Being naturally inquisitive, you are able to identify and solve complex challenges within a self-reliant team while minimizing operational disruption.
