About the Role:
This position provides personal training services to NKU Campus Recreation members by leading individualized workouts and helping clients work toward their fitness goals. Personal Trainers will create and lead safe, effective exercise sessions while providing a welcoming and supportive experience for clients.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Lead individualized personal training sessions for Campus Recreation members
- Develop safe and effective workouts based on clients’ goals and fitness levels
- Demonstrate proper exercise technique and provide coaching throughout sessions
- Modify exercises to meet individual client needs and abilities
- Track client workouts, progress, and session attendance
- Communicate with clients to schedule sessions and provide ongoing support
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and clean training environment

Minimum expectations for consideration:

- Current personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Basic knowledge of exercise technique, fitness programming, and safety
- Ability to provide a welcoming and supportive experience for clients

Work Schedule and Pay:

- $15/hour
- Approximately 5–10 hours per week, depending on client demand and availability
- Schedule is flexible and will be coordinated around the trainer’s availability and client schedules
- Some early morning, evening, or weekend hours may be available/required based on client needs
