About this role

The Director, Quality Supplier, is responsible for driving internal and external supplier quality and development initiatives. This individual will be a customer focused transformational leader driving execution across supply categories strategically focusing resources across 1000+ suppliers.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).

WHAT YOU NEED

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Global Supplier Quality across diverse regions (North America, APAC, LATAM, EMEA)
- Proven record of managing global supply chains with 1000+ active suppliers or handling high-volume spending portfolio (e.g. $500M+)
- 7+ years of recent experience with company producing Electro-mechanical products with long product lifecycles and warranty liabilities (e.g. automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or major home appliances).
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise-wide QMS, supplier quality software, or Industry 4.0+ data analytics tools to replace manual or legacy processes.
- Expert level knowledge of APQP and PPAP in bringing new products to market.
- Expert level knowledge of problem-solving methodologies like 8D, Red-X, Six Sigma, etc.
- Ability to lead, develop talent and manage performance with 10+ years of prior experience managing and leading a team of professionals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office, MS Project or Clarity, and Data Analysis software (i.e. Minitab).

- Experienced in using AI to supplement and support execution of team initiatives
