Packaging Supervisor - 2nd Shift

What You'll Do:

This position is responsible for overseeing the production of a quality-finished product in an efficient manner while achieving maximum use of supplies, equipment, and our human resources through teamwork, training, and a sense of pride in our achievements. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

- Lead Labeling Effort

- Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed

- Communicate goals to the crew

- Work with operators to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems and other production issues

- Work to correct any problems that are identified, determine where and why the problem occurred, and oversee specific corrective action

- Monitor use of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Manpower Coordination

- Data Analysis

- Employee Training

- Maintenance Issues and Safety

Requirements for Success:

- 4-year degree in Management or Supervision

- 2-4 years in management/supervisory role in Food Manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal

- Independent thinking with the ability to make decisions quickly

- Sense of urgency coupled with the ability to proactively solve problems

- Must display initiative and ingenuity

- On the job training regarding Training by HACCP Coordinator

- Teamwork

Supervisory Responsibilities

- Direct: 21-25 Operators

- Indirect: None
