Compensation: $ 80,000- 90 ,000 depending on experience

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Accountant who wants more than a traditional accounting role. You'll help manage critical accounting functions while supporting process improvements across a growing organization. This is an opportunity to work directly with business leaders, influence decisions, and help build scalable processes as Crossroads Courier continues to grow.

What You'll Do

- Month-end and year-end close

- Financial statement preparation

- Financial reporting and analysis

- Own the Accounts Payable process

- Support Accounts Receivable activities

- Treasury activities, including Positive Pay

- Implement process improvement initiatives

- Support and collaborate with other team members

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, technology, and AI

What We're Looking For

Required

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field

- 3+ years of accounting experience

- Full-cycle accounting experience

- Financial reporting experience

- Accounts Payable experience

- Strong Excel skills

- Experience using an ERP or accounting system

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proven ability to identify and improve inefficient processes

Preferred

- Treasury or banking experience

- Sage Intacct experience

- Experience leveraging AI, automation, or technology to improve efficiency

- Experience in logistics , transportation, healthcare, service, or other multi-location operating environments

Within your first year, you'll :

- Take a primary role in the month-end close process

- Learn and improve financial reporting

- Own the whole Accounts Payable process
