Job Title: Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role requires leadership in managing project schedules, budgets, and communications, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall project planning, execution, budget, schedule, documentation, communication, and closeout.
- Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, procurement plans, and critical path activities.
- Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, scopes of work, change orders, pay applications, invoices, and project correspondence.
- Track project costs, forecast financial performance, manage change events, and support profitability goals.
- Coordinate with Superintendents to monitor field progress, quality, safety, inspections, logistics, and issue resolution.
- Identify project risks, resolve conflicts, remove roadblocks, and communicate project status clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with drawings, specifications, permits, building codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
Essential Skills
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, project sequencing, contract administration, cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and project financial reports.
- Strong leadership, accountability, organization, decision-making, and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, negotiate effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in project management and construction management.
- Knowledge of change orders and project coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
