We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinarian Technician to join our team and help us continue providing high-quality veterinary care. This is a great opportunity for a veterinary professional who enjoys a hands-on role, values teamwork, and wants to continue building their knowledge and skills.

As a Veterinarian Technician , you’ll work closely with our veterinarians and veterinary team to support patients throughout every stage of their care. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of cases while developing your skills across preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, anesthesia, and hospitalized patient care.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Veterinarian Technician may include:

- Safely restraining patients using low-stress handling techniques
- Triaging incoming veterinary patients and supporting efficient hospital flow
- Collecting and processing blood, urine, fecal, and skin samples
- Performing and processing veterinary laboratory tests
- Obtaining accurate patient histories and documenting medical records
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging, including positioning and capturing radiographs
- Dental radiograph experience is a plus
- Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized veterinary patients
- Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary surgical procedures
- Monitoring patients during anesthesia and recovery
- Communicating treatment plans and care instructions clearly and professionally with clients
- Supporting the veterinarians and veterinary team in providing safe, compassionate patient care

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Veterinarian Technician with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for veterinary medicine. You’ll be a great fit if you’re dependable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a team that supports one another.

Ideal candidates will have:

- At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
- CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials are a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with veterinary medical records and client histories
- Knowledge of preventive care, surgical procedures, and hospital workflow
- Proficiency with safe and effective animal restraint
- Experience collecting and processing laboratory samples
- Experience positioning and capturing radiographs
- Anesthesia and surgical monitoring experience
- A self-starter mindset and desire to continue developing veterinary skills
- The ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionally

This position requires the ability to work around unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Pay: $14-19/hr depending on experience
