What this Department does

The department is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of gas/CO2 pipelines, compressor stations, pump stations, process plants, and related facilities. It also handles electrical, measurement, and control integrity, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What you will bring:

Education:

- High School Diploma.
- Actively enrolled or recently completed (within 3 months) a relevant technical or associate degree program (e.g., Mechanics, Energy, Construction, Industrial Electrician, Electromechanical, Measurement, or other Electrical programs)

Experience/Specific Knowledge:

- Experience using MS Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Skills:

- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.
- Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data accurately.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn measurement and control equipment.
- Basic understanding of schematics, engineering drawings, technical reports, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
- Strong focus on safe work practices.

What Else You Need to Know

- Must be able to work outdoors in project and maintenance activities.
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways.
- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Successful candidates must clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including a credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to employment.

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person in our field office. We will host our 2026 interns for 10 weeks May-August.

Compensation And Other Benefits

- The pay rate for this role is $30.60 USD Hourly
- The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include paid time off; a housing stipend; and more.
