Direct Care Worker

Join University Home Care Inc as a a Direct Care Worker in Lake Orion, MI. In this role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities, monitor their health, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Support clients with mobility and transfers

- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed

- Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior to supervisors

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for clients

- Document care provided and follow care plans accurately

Requirements

- Previous experience in caregiving or direct care preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately

- Reliable, trustworthy, and patient

- Ability to pass background checks

- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred
