Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological, and mobility-related conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and home exercise programs.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice.
- New graduates welcome where applicable.
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, or post-acute care preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the applicable credentialing organization.
