The Role:
Entegris is seeking a Senior Plant Quality Supervisor to lead plant quality engineering activities and drive manufacturing quality excellence at KSP /EHP . This role is responsible for overseeing PQE team execution, ensuring stable and scalable production processes, and delivering consistent product quality aligned with business and customer requirements.
As a Supervisor , you will provide leadership to the LMC-KSP and LMC-EHP PQE team, manage daily quality operations, and drive cross-functional alignment across Production, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring HVM readiness, process control effectiveness, and sustainable quality performance , while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
This role is critical to support KSP HVM ramp, increasing qualification demand, and multi-site coordination across LMC and EHP businesses.
In this role you will:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the PQE team to ensure strong execution, capability growth, and talent development
- Set team priorities, allocate resources, and ensure effective support for manufacturing operations
- Drive accountability and performance management aligned with plant and business objectives
Plant Quality Ownership
- Own plant-level quality performance, including DPPM, SPC, CCPK, QNCT and CXI
- Oversee process control strategies and ensure effective implementation of SPC and control plans
- Ensure consistent execution of quality systems, standards, and compliance requirements
Quality Issue Management & Escalation
- Lead resolution of complex manufacturing quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, RCA, CAPA)
- Oversee containment, corrective actions, and prevention of recurrence for major excursions
- Act as escalation point for critical quality and customer-impacting issues
Cross-functional Leadership
- Drive alignment and decision-making across Production, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer Facing Team
- Lead cross-functional improvement programs to reduce variation and improve manufacturing performance
- Partner with global quality teams to standardize best practices and ensure site alignment
NPI / MOC / Qualification Oversight
- Oversee qualification and validation activities for new products, materials, and process changes
- Ensure manufacturing readiness and quality compliance for NPI, MOC , and plant transfer activities
- Lead risk assessment and ensure robust change management execution
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
- Drive site-level quality improvement roadmap and long-term capability enhancement
- Identify risks and opportunities impacting quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Support strategic initiatives including localization, capacity expansion, and customer qualifications
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related technical field
- Strong experience in plant quality engineering within semiconductors or high-tech manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience managing or leading engineering/quality teams
- Deep knowledge of quality systems and tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, DOE)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability in complex manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in NPI, qualification, and change management processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive execution and alignment
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
