Naylor Love is looking for an experienced Digital Engineering Manager to lead and align our Digital Engineering function nationally. This is a unique opportunity to establish consistent standards, strengthen our national capability and embed digital-by-default thinking into everyday project delivery.

Working closely with the MMC, operational, pre-construction, technology and project teams, you will help ensure Digital Engineering is recognised as an enabler of better project outcomes rather than a specialist support service.

About the role

As our Group Digital Engineering Manager, you will:

- lead and develop a nationally aligned, collaborative Digital Engineering function
- shape and implement the Digital Engineering strategy, roadmap, standards and governance framework
- embed digital-by-default approaches across the project lifecycle, from tender and project setup through delivery and handover
- support project teams to select and apply the right level of digital intervention for each project
- oversee the Digital Engineering technology ecosystem, including Autodesk platforms, Revizto, reality capture and emerging technologies
- build capability through coaching, mentoring, training and knowledge sharing
- establish meaningful measures that demonstrate the contribution of Digital Engineering to quality, productivity, coordination, certainty and project performance
- build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, technology partners and industry bodies.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for a respected Digital Engineering leader who combines strong technical credibility with strategic thinking, commercial awareness and an ability to bring people along with them.

Ideally, you'll have:

- a degree in Building Information Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field
- at least 10 years’ construction industry experience in a BIM or Digital Engineering function
- advanced knowledge of Autodesk products and Revizto
- familiarity with technologies such as reality capture, point-cloud scanning, drones and logistics planning
- strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-influencing skills
- excellent strategic thinking, change management, systems thinking and problem-solving abilities
- the technical credibility to support major projects while remaining focused on leadership, capability and business outcomes
- confidence in the intelligent application of AI to personal work and Digital Engineering
- energy, curiosity and a genuine desire to drive positive change in the construction industry.
