Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to start a professional career without previous insurance experience? We are seeking motivated individuals to join our virtual organization as  Entry Level Benefits Representatives .

This role gives you the opportunity to work from home while helping individuals and families understand insurance and supplemental benefit options available to them.

Representatives combine customer service, benefits education, relationship management, and consultative sales. You will meet clients through Zoom rather than traveling to offices or homes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Connecting with company-provided leads
• Scheduling and conducting virtual client appointments
• Learning about each client's benefit needs
• Explaining available coverage in understandable terms
• Answering client questions
• Assisting qualified clients with enrollment
• Completing applications electronically
• Following up with clients
• Maintaining accurate client information
• Participating in training and coaching sessions

What We Are Looking For

We are more interested in attitude, communication ability, and willingness to learn than previous insurance experience.

Required

• 18 years of age or older
• U.S. resident
• Computer or laptop
• Reliable internet connection
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable using Zoom and online systems
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to obtain a Life and Health insurance license

Preferred

• Customer service experience
• Retail, hospitality, sales, or service background
• Experience communicating with customers
• Goal-oriented personality
• Strong time-management skills

No college degree is required.

Training

We provide ongoing training and mentorship to help new representatives learn the products, systems, client presentation process, and enrollment procedures.

Candidates who are not currently licensed will receive guidance regarding the licensing process. Licensing expenses are the candidate's responsibility and are not deducted from future compensation.

Compensation and Schedule

This is a  1099 independent contractor position paid entirely through commissions. It does not provide an hourly wage or guaranteed salary.

Eligible completed business is paid weekly. Representatives may also qualify for bonuses, residual income, recognition programs, and other performance incentives.

Scheduling is flexible, but representatives should be available when clients are available for virtual appointments.

Important Information About This Opportunity

This is a 100% remote, independent contractor opportunity with American Income Life / Globe Life. Compensation is commission-based and performance-driven; this is not an hourly or salaried position.

Candidates selected to move forward should be prepared to:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
• Provide their own computer/laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace
• Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings
• Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities
• Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense

No prior insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided.
