Globe Life American Income Division / AO is expanding its virtual team and seeking motivated individuals for a  Remote Customer Service Representative  opportunity.

This is not a traditional hourly call-center position. The role combines customer service, benefits education, relationship building, and consultative insurance sales. Representatives meet with clients virtually through Zoom to help them understand available life and supplemental benefit options.

Our organization has a long history of serving working families, union members, associations, veterans, and other eligible groups. We are looking for individuals who communicate well, enjoy helping people, are comfortable working independently, and are willing to learn the insurance industry.

What Your Day May Look Like

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will:

• Connect with company-provided leads and clients
• Conduct scheduled virtual appointments through Zoom
• Ask questions to understand each client's needs
• Explain available insurance and benefit options clearly
• Answer questions regarding coverage and enrollment
• Complete electronic applications and benefit enrollments
• Follow up with clients when additional assistance is needed
• Maintain professional, long-term client relationships
• Participate in virtual team meetings and ongoing training
• Develop product knowledge and client-service skills

This position does  not require door-to-door prospecting or traditional cold calling . Leads are provided to help representatives connect with individuals and families.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must reside in the United States
• Reliable computer or laptop required
• Reliable high-speed internet required
• Comfortable communicating through Zoom
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Willingness to obtain the required Life and Health insurance license
• Ability to complete required licensing and background requirements

A Life and Health insurance license is required before performing licensed insurance activities.

Preferred Qualifications

These are helpful but  not required :

• Customer service experience
• Sales or account-management experience
• Hospitality or retail experience
• Call-center or client-support experience
• Insurance or financial-services experience
• Leadership experience

No previous insurance experience is required.

Training and Support

New representatives receive training and ongoing mentorship covering products, client presentations, enrollment systems, virtual appointments, and professional development.

The company provides the electronic systems used for applications and virtual presentations.

Representatives are responsible for providing their own computer, internet connection, and home-office equipment.

Compensation

This is a  1099 independent contractor opportunity with commission-only compensation. There is no hourly wage or guaranteed salary.

Representatives are paid weekly on eligible completed business and may qualify for additional performance bonuses and residual income opportunities.

Candidates selected to move forward should be prepared to:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
• Provide their own computer/laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace
• Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings
• Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities
• Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense

No prior insurance experience is required. Training, mentorship, licensing guidance, and ongoing professional development are provided.
