Senior Operational Excellence Manager

YOU

You have built solid experience in Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment and have successfully led TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) deployment initiatives, continuous improvement programmes and transformation projects in complex industrial organisations.

Your background has enabled you to develop a strong expertise in Operational Excellence methodologies, factory performance improvement and change management, with a strong ability to translate strategy into operational execution.

You are recognised for your leadership, coaching capabilities and strong Gemba mindset. You enjoy developing people, challenging the status quo and driving sustainable performance improvements through collaboration and engagement. You are able to work across organisational boundaries, break down silos and build strong collaboration across teams, functions and manufacturing sites.

You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to influence different levels of the organisation and work effectively in an international environment.

You are analytical and data-driven, comfortable using performance indicators and operational data to identify priorities, drive decision-making and measure results.

You are fluent in French and English and are comfortable collaborating with European and international stakeholders.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Operational Excellence Manager at Suntory Beverage & Food France, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Transformation & Operational Excellence Director, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Operational Excellence programme at the Donnery manufacturing site.

You will drive the deployment of the factory’s Operational Excellence roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term manufacturing objectives. You will lead strategic improvement projects and ensure their successful execution while supporting the evolution of the Operational Excellence organisation and its future operating model.

You will lead improvement initiatives based on loss intelligence and performance analysis to enhance safety, quality, service and cost performance.You will lead the deployment and embedding of the SBF MONOZUKURI WAY, Suntory’s evolution of TPM, across the manufacturing site through coaching, training and operational governance.

You will establish and develop a DOJO to support capability building, ensuring the implementation of standardised training programmes and sustainable skill development across the factory.

You will drive the adoption of Gemba Digitalization solutions to enhance Operational Excellence, leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and automation to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational performance.

You will act as a change agent within the factory, fostering a strong Operational Excellence culture through coaching, capability development and a visible presence at Gemba.

You will provide guidance, training and support to factory teams and key stakeholders to strengthen Operational Excellence capabilities across the organisation.

You will help break down silos, strengthen collaboration across functions and support the sharing of best practices across manufacturing sites.

You will work closely with factory leadership teams, Operational Excellence stakeholders and international partners to continuously improve performance, strengthen collaboration across sites and support the future development of the manufacturing network.

YOUR PROFILE

- Academic background in Engineering, Science or equivalent

- Solid experience in Operational Excellence within a manufacturing environment and proven TPM deployment experience

- Strong experience leading transformation and continuous improvement programmes

- Strong leadership and people development capabilities

- Ability to influence across functions, break down silos and foster collaboration in a complex manufacturing environment

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong analytical mindset with financial awareness (P&L, OPEX, CAPEX, R&M)

- Experience working in an international environment

- Fluent French and English

- Experience within Beverage, FMCG or other industrial manufacturing environments

Permanent position available as soon as possible, based at our Donnery manufacturing site (France).
