QC Inspector Mechanical (m/f/d)

As a QC Inspector Mechanical, you will be responsible for inspecting mechanical construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout project execution and supporting successful project delivery.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

- Review project requirements and determine inspection, examination, and testing needs for assigned project areas.
- Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Perform functional checks and mechanical completion inspections for pressure and atmospheric vessels.
- Conduct inspections of trays, including dimensional checks, water tightness tests, and related quality controls.
- Witness and verify inspections, tests, and quality control activities performed by contractors and suppliers.
- Perform hydrostatic testing of tanks and monitor pad settlement measurements.
- Inspect equipment installation activities including alignment, leveling, and mechanical integrity verification.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare reports documenting quality activities and findings.
- Control and monitor inspection status within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Support project quality management activities and assist with validation and verification processes.

## Show your expertise

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on construction experience within EPC projects and/or process industries.
- Experience in quality control and inspection activities on industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and good engineering practices.
- Knowledge of mechanical integrity principles, risk-based inspection methodologies, and industry regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in preparing quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Good command of English; Italian language skills are considered an advantage.

The salary range for this position is between € 33'800 and € 39'000 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
