Portfolio Manager - Proposal Management (m/f/d)

At Exyte, we deliver some of the world's most advanced pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities. As Portfolio Manager – Proposal Management, you will play a key role in securing and delivering these projects.
You will lead the development of complex technical and commercial proposals for major Life Sciences investment projects and act as the central point of coordination between clients, engineering, project management and commercial teams. Beyond proposal leadership, you will support portfolio planning and governance activities, helping to ensure transparency, alignment and successful project execution across the portfolio.

## Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Proposal Management

- Lead complex technical and commercial proposals for large EPCM Life Sciences projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, project management, estimating, procurement and commercial management
- Develop proposal strategies, schedules and submission plans
- Drive proposal quality, compliance and competitiveness
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities and key assumptions
- Support client presentations, clarification meetings and negotiations
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposal submissions
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across proposal activities

Portfolio Coordination & Governance

- Support portfolio planning, reporting and resource coordination activities
- Provide transparency on proposal status, priorities, resource needs and key risks
- Support governance reviews and management decision-making
- Prepare portfolio-related analyses, reports and presentations
- Contribute to the successful coordination of strategic opportunities and major projects

## Show your expertise

- Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in Life Sciences, EPCM or industrial investment projects
- Strong experience in proposal management within complex project environments
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and international teams
- Strong commercial understanding and awareness of project cost drivers
- Experience with large CAPEX investment projects
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and German required
- Strong ownership, leadership and coordination skills
