Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for EPC partners, owners engineers, and customers, interpreting and integrating design requirements in accordance with contract specifications.
- Lead the planning, setup, and monitoring of project engineering systems, including project kick-offs, master document lists (MDLs), division of responsibility (DOR) documents, contract deviation lists, and inter-discipline workflows.
- Coordinate and oversee engineering activities across disciplines, proactively resolving crossdisciplinary issues to maintain project alignment and technical integrity.
- Translate contract requirements and scope of work into clear, actionable engineering deliverables for discipline teams, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, and estimates throughout the project lifecycle, conducting periodic reviews and planning activities to keep work on track.
- Drive expediting activities and escalate critical action items as needed, preparing and delivering technical status reports on engineering deliverables.
- Support project managers and lead project engineers in tracking and assessing design changes, engineering change notices (ECNs), and contract deviations, including evaluation of schedule and cost impacts.
- Coordinate regularly with international affiliated companies to support global engineering execution and on-time project delivery.
- Review and comment on project documents and drawings to ensure compliance with technical requirements, codes, standards, and contractual document flow.
- Support equipment specification development, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and capacity assessments for equipment sourced for gas turbine and combined cycle projects.
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards for combustion turbines and auxiliary systems, including ANSI, AWS, API, ASTM, NFPA, and NEC.
- Collaborate closely with global sourcing, quality assurance, and project management teams to coordinate vendors and subcontractors throughout project execution.
- Support application engineering by reviewing and evaluating customer specifications in coordination with the parent organization or global partners, as required.
- Track and resolve open technical and contractual items through project completion and into the warranty period, ensuring timely closure of outstanding issues.
- Demonstrate and promote core competencies such as action orientation, change leadership, customer focus, continuous development of self and others, and strong ownership of outcomes.
- Exhibit strong multitasking capabilities and maintain clear, consistent communication across engineering, sourcing, and project teams.
Essential Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 320 years of directly related technical experience in engineering or power project execution.
- At least 3 years of project engineering experience, including industrial project exposure; experience with gas turbine, power plant, steam turbine, or industrial plant projects is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience leading multidisciplinary engineering activities on complex industrial or power projects.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine and gas turbine auxiliaries design and construction across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and controls (I&C) disciplines.
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering codes and standards relevant to combustion turbines and auxiliary systems, including ANSI, AWS, API, ASTM, NFPA, and NEC.
- Proficiency with SP3D and other 3D design tools such as SmartPlant or PDMS.
- Proficiency with project management and office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio, as well as the ability to create and interpret technical diagrams and flowcharts.
- Strong technical interpretation skills with the ability to analyze complex instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage both abstract and practical variables.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and integrate engineering, scheduling, and procurement activities in accordance with contract requirements.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers, EPC partners, and cross-functional internal teams.

- Knowledge of ISO procedures and OSHA safety requirements.
- International business experience, including collaboration with global and multicultural teams.
- Experience supporting equipment specification, bid evaluation, and vendor selection for large industrial or power projects.
- Ability to lead and participate in global engineering coordination with affiliated companies.
- Strong ownership mindset, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a change champion in dynamic project environments.
