Regulatory Specialist - Your future position?

As the Regulatory Specialist, t he incumbent will be part of the Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety department, supporting compliance of Givaudan’s fragrance ingredients and compounds with applicable industry, governmental, and customer-specific regulatory requirements, as well as their safe use in a wide range of consumer products.

The incumbent will work closely with regulatory affairs experts and contribute to the following key activities:

- Support chemical registration activities, including, but not limited to, data gap analysis, dossier preparation, and registration/notification updates.
- Support compliance activities related to upcoming Chemical Control Legislation (CCL) and updates to existing CCL requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of RICS compliance projects and processes.
- Support other regulatory activities and projects, as required.
- Collaborate closely with RAPS functions to ensure effective alignment and execution of regulatory activities.

Your professional profile includes:

Primary Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemistry or another relevant scientific discipline.
- Strong chemistry background and understanding of chemical substances are required; familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements is an advantage
- 2-5 years of experience in chemical or consumer product regulatory affairs is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with enterprise systems such as SAP is an advantage.
- Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong appreciation for luxury and aesthetics.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

- Fluent in English.

Functional Skills & Competencies:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g., Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
