About this role
The TMS Front Office Admin serves as the primary front desk administrative and clerical support for clinical services within the Neuromodulation Division.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: greeting and checking in patients at the front desk, collecting copays, managing patient scheduling in accordance with required protocols, providing additional scheduling support as needed, and ensuring efficient clinic flow.
The role requires strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate effectively with patients, clinical teams, and administrative staff, ensuring seamless front desk operations.

Salary Range: $27.74 - $39.36 Hourly
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of Experience providing administrative, front desk, customer service, patient access, scheduling, or related support in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, W indows, Outlook e-mail and basic knowledge of PC applications .
- Ability to perform responsibilities with frequent interruptions and competing demands.
- Strong communication skills to interact diplomatically with individual from diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds and explain the department's policies relate to appointment scheduling, billing , collections , registration.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing assignments and maintaining efficient workflow.
- Ability to provide professional, courteous, and responsive customer service to patients, families, visitors, clinicians, and staff.
- Ability to accurately obtain, verify, and enter patient demographic, registration, insurance, and financial information.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle protected health information and other sensitive information.
- Ability to follow established scheduling, registration, cash-handling, and front desk procedures with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, health sciences, public health, social sciences, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, including patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or use of an electronic health record.
- Working knowledge of Medi-Cal, HMO's, PPO's, third party payors, etc., authorizations and eligibility requirements and regulations.
- Knowledge of NPBHS and Medical Enterprise supported services, Care Connect (EPIC) systems
