About this role

We're looking for a Senior Associate, Digital Product Management to help shape the US Consumer Prospect Shop experience, where prospective customers research, compare, and evaluate our Card and banking products as they move through their shopping journey toward applying. Prospect acquisition through digital channels is one of the largest investment areas at American Express, and this role is at the heart of how we deliver it.

This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who loves the craft of shipping product. As part of the broader Enterprise Acquisition Products & Platforms team, you'll help deliver journey improvements, product refreshes, reusable component integration, and capability-led experimentation that improve conversion and customer experience.

Success in this role means blending sharp organization and attention to detail with strong stakeholder management and the ability to keep cross-functional teams aligned and moving. It means navigating ambiguity without letting delivery slip, and pairing digital fluency with a design-led, customer-first point of view on every product decision. You'll partner closely with teams such as Marketing, Design, UX, Analytics, and Engineering to bring features to market with speed, quality, and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

- 2+ years of digital product management, product owner, or product operations experience, with a track record of feature delivery and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a curious, proactive mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep delivery on track in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust and alignment across teams.
- Digital fluency and a design-led, customer-first point of view, with the ability to translate customer problems into well-defined product requirements.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) and partnering closely with Engineering to deliver against technical dependencies and implementation tradeoffs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with customer-facing digital acquisition, ecommerce, shopping, or conversion optimization.
- Familiarity with experimentation platforms (e.g., Statsig or similar) and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, Dynatrace).
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, or similar delivery tools.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles, usability testing, and responsive web design.
- GenAI fluency, including comfort using AI tools to accelerate discovery, documentation, and delivery.

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
