About the Role We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to build, maintain, and scale our backend services and data systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design high-performance microservices, robust RESTful APIs, and reliable data pipelines.
Job Title: Python Developer
Key Responsibilities: - Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient backend applications and microservices using Python. - Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to OOP principles, interface-driven design, and type hints. - Database Management: Design database schemas, optimize SQL queries, and manage data integrations (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL). - API & System Integration: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and cloud infrastructure into existing applications. - Testing & Security: Write comprehensive unit/integration tests and enforce secure coding practices (handling secrets, authentication, and authorization). - Collaboration: Work alongside front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver feature releases.
Minimum Qualifications: - Experience: 5+ years of professional backend software development experience in Python. - Frameworks: Proven experience with modern Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask). - Databases & SQL: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing optimized SQL. - API Design: Deep understanding of RESTful architecture, JSON, and web service security. - Tools & Practices: Proficiency with Git, containerization (Docker), and writing automated tests using frameworks like pytest. - Core Concepts: Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), asynchronous programming and software design patterns.
