# Job Description Summary
The S&OP Leader for Latin America is responsible for leading activities and processes that support the Operations, Modality, and Sales organizations in achieving business objectives across the region.
The role drives inventory optimization, fulfillment performance, logistics productivity, and the accuracy of the Production, Sales, and Inventory (PSI) plan. Working in close partnership with Modality, Commercial, Supply Chain, Order Management, and Operations teams, the S&OP Leader provides data-driven insights, identifies risks and opportunities, and leads mitigation actions across all LATAM countries.
Success in this role requires strong ownership, excellent communication, structured problem-solving, and the ability to independently lead priorities from identification through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead LATAM inventory strategy and governance, driving cross-functional actions to improve inventory turns and reduce aged, excess, obsolete inventory, and obsolescence reserves.
- Establish disciplined inventory monitoring routines by modality, proactively identifying risks and leading mitigation plans to protect customer satisfaction and revenue recognition.
- Serve as the LATAM focal point for fulfillment escalations, coordinating regional and global stakeholders to mitigate delivery risks and improve on-time delivery performance.
- Manage fulfillment escalations with structure, urgency, and disciplined follow-through, ensuring clear ownership, timely stakeholder communication, and visibility of risks, actions, and next steps.
- Lead and continuously improve the regional S&OP and PSI processes, ensuring accurate plans, actionable insights, stakeholder alignment, and accountability.
- Drive logistics optimization initiatives aimed at reducing international freight costs.
- Coordinate regional Phase-In, Phase-Out, and New Product Introduction activities in partnership with Modality, Product, Commercial, and Operations teams.
- Lead materials planning for consoles, accessories, and other relevant materials within the inventory strategy, mitigating shortages and minimizing risks to customer satisfaction and revenue recognition.
- Lead business-critical topics end-to-end while promoting proactive communication, process standardization, automation, data quality, visibility, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, distribution, sales operations, or order management.
- Working knowledge and experience with ERP, Excel, and BI Tools.
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, leveraging data analysis and systemic solutions.
- Ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management and execution skills, with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Fluent English and advanced proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

- APICS certification.
- Postgraduate degree and/or MBA.
- Change-oriented profile with a proven ability to develop and lead sustainable process improvements and adapt to evolving business needs.
