Device Calibration Technician

[Job Description] One of the globally recognized electronic test, measure, and calibration equipment companies in Everett, WA is seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical aptitude to join the team. The individual calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs instruments and/or systems returned for service and/or repair. Typically found in areas such as service support, metrology, etc. Troubleshoots to the component level. Title - Calibration Technician Pay - $30/hr. (Final Rate) Schedule - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM PST OR 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM PST Swing Shift (Monday - Friday Morning Shift - 40 hours a week) Location - Everett, WA (100% On-site) Contract Duration - 6 Months To Start [Summary of Key Responsibilities]

- Performs calibrations with the various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions.
- Prepares required documentation and maintains associated records.
- Conveys data and trends on product calibrations to the appropriate person or department to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalates unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintains all standards and M7TE.
- In a lab setting, analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by the customer.

[Qualification Requirements]

- 1-2+ years of relevant hands-on experience from school or work.
- Associates in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience ORBS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree.
- Understanding of Basic metrology concepts preferred. (ISO 17025)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good attitude. Meticulous. Works well in a team setting.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn and succeed.
- Comfortable submitting to a Drug Test (including THC screening) upon onboarding.

[Nice-To-Have Qualifications]

- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
- 6 months of experience using automated test systems.
- Soldering experience.
- ISO 17025.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
