Calibration Technician

Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing instruments and/or systems returned for service. The position is typically found in areas such as service support and metrology, requiring troubleshooting at the component level.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations with various primary standards and M&TE according to prescribed work instructions.
- Prepare required documentation and maintain associated records.
- Convey data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unusual product issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain all standards and M&TE.
- In a lab setting, analyze, troubleshoot, make repairs, resolve technical problems, and perform maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to the service center by customers.
Essential Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics and electrical systems.
- Experience with calibration and understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
- Familiarity with test and lab equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Science with a focus on Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience, or a BS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree.
- Experience in troubleshooting from academic or hands-on work.
- Understanding of basic metrology concepts is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude, meticulous, and able to work well in a team setting.
- Good work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic test equipment.
- Six months of experience using automated test systems.
- Soldering experience.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
Work Environment
The role operates in a lab setting with a choice of two shifts: 1st Shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm, or 2nd Shift from Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-11pm. Training will be conducted during the same hours as the chosen shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
