ORR Night Group Supervisor (English/Spanish)

✨Rite of Passage Team is Hiring an ORR Night Group Supervisor (English/Spanish) at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona ✨

What you will do: The Night Group Supervisor's work is performed under general supervision and requires knowledge of the policies, procedures, regulations, licensing requirements, and federal, state, and local laws concerning students within the program and supervised staff. The Night Group Supervisor exercises considerable independent judgment and authority on a daily basis through the direction and supervision of both students and staff in order to meet the expectations of the services provided. The Night Group Supervisor exercises direct control and direction over subordinate staff, such as Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, Night Coach Counselors, transportation staff, etc., as assigned, to ensure the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program. The Night Group Supervisor's duties include participation and authority in decisions involving processes to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, promote, discharge, assign, evaluate performance, reward, or discipline other employees, as well as program delivery.

About Canyon State Academy

Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Caf, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more).

Schedule

- Night B Shift - Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must:

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Supervisory experience preferred.

- Must be able to pass bilingual (English/Spanish) assessment.

- Minimum 1 year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents.

- Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Drivers License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.

- Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
