FPGA Design/Verification Engineer

Job Title: FPGA Design/Verification Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled FPGA Design/Verification Engineer to join our R&D program. The selected candidate will focus on ASIC & FPGA development, particularly in digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip (SOC) implementation on FPGA platforms. This role requires collaboration across disciplines to create cutting-edge products and will contribute significantly to the design, simulation, verification, integration, and testing of complex, high-speed products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate digital signal processing, high-speed digital design, and system-on-chip (SOC) on FPGA platforms.
- Collaborate with Systems Architects, RF/Analog & Digital Circuit designers, and ASIC/FPGA engineers.
- Provide support and technical direction to junior engineers.
- Contribute to the design, simulation, verification, integration, and test of high-speed products.
- Automate and develop scripts to improve FPGA development efforts.
Essential Skills
- Experience with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, and Synopsys Synplify.
- Proficient in SystemVerilog.
- Proficiency with HDL simulators, waveform viewers, and coverage tools.
- Familiarity with hardwareintheloop (HIL) test setups and test equipment like JTAG and logic analyzers.
- Experience with version control systems and configuration management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in UVM.
- Proficient in C.
- Bachelor's degree with 9-15 years of experience or a Master's degree with 7-13 years of experience.
Work Environment
The position offers a 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday. Candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a security clearance. The role is exempt from hourly rates and is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owego, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
