Position Summary
The Cosmetic Sales & Product Education Manager is responsible for driving cosmetic revenue growth through product sales strategy, patient education initiatives, staff training, and performance coaching. This role serves as the subject matter expert for cosmetic skincare products, aesthetic treatments, and retail sales programs, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable, confident, and effective in recommending products and services that enhance patient outcomes and practice revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Management
- Develop and implement strategies to increase cosmetic product and aesthetic service sales.
- Monitor retail and cosmetic treatment performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Establish sales goals, track results, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Create promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal sales initiatives.
- Partner with providers to increase patient utilization of cosmetic services and medical-grade skincare products.
- Analyze sales data and inventory trends to optimize product mix and pricing strategies.
Product Education & Staff Development
- Serve as the primary trainer for all cosmetic product lines, skincare regimens, and aesthetic services.
- Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing education programs for providers, medical assistants, front office staff, and cosmetic consultants.
- Conduct regular product knowledge assessments and coaching sessions.
- Ensure staff can confidently educate patients on treatment options, skincare protocols, and product benefits.
- Coordinate vendor-led training and certification programs.
Patient Experience & Consultation Support
- Assist with patient consultations and recommend treatment plans and skincare products when appropriate.
- Support providers with treatment package presentations and patient education materials.
- Implement strategies to improve patient retention, rebooking rates, and product repurchase rates.
- Maintain a high-touch, luxury patient experience that promotes long-term loyalty.
Vendor & Product Management
- Develop relationships with skincare and aesthetic device manufacturers.
- Evaluate new products and services for potential implementation.
- Manage product inventory levels, merchandising, and retail displays.
- Negotiate promotions, educational support, and marketing partnerships with vendors.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cosmetic, aesthetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa sales.
- Demonstrated success in increasing retail product sales and cosmetic service revenue.
- Experience developing and delivering employee training programs.
- Strong understanding of medical-grade skincare products, injectables, laser treatments, and aesthetic services.
- Excellent presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to analyze sales performance metrics and implement revenue-enhancing initiatives.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Physical Requirements: Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computers and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals. Multiple staff demands and deadlines can trigger stress.
