About this role

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Create a clean and well-organized work environment that prevents accidents and minimizes safety risks for our team.
- Develop and ensure that our processes are robust enough to enable personnel to produce high-quality vehicles that meet company standards.
- Create and maintain torque matrices.
- Ensure that equipment and tooling maximize the VA/NVA ratio, considering workforce realities and leveraging state-of-the-art technologies when required.
- Collaborate closely with Product Engineers to ensure product features are manufactured according to specifications.
- As part of the Process Engineering / New Product Development (IE/NPD) department in a leading company, continuously drive innovation and pursue operational excellence.
- Deliver assigned project activities on time while working closely with the NPD/NPI team, proactively identifying and reporting obstacles before mass production.
- Actively participate in the development and maintenance of FMEAs to ensure that risk mitigation measures are properly documented within vehicle assembly lines.
- Support the creation of a continuous improvement culture through Lean Manufacturing principles and BRPMS tools. Foster collaboration across departments by leading, developing, and training team members to optimize safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance in a dynamic environment.
- Manage budgets responsibly by evaluating multiple sourcing options to ensure quality products at the best price and lead time.
- Actively promote BRP’s workplace culture by maintaining a positive attitude and participating in the company's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives.
- Provide support during pilot runs.
- Perform activities focused on improving employee safety.
- Conduct studies to select the best tools and equipment based on safety, quality, and productivity criteria.
- Design tools and fixtures as required.
- Resolve quality-related issues.
- Manage capital equipment acquisition projects.
- Complete all planned Quality and Training-related courses and certifications on time.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions.
- Comply with all safety rules and requirements applicable to the position.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements applicable to the role in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
- Apply BRP's Quality Policy.
- Adhere to BRP's values and behaviors.

Skills and Qualifications

- English: Advanced proficiency.
- Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CATIA, and Adobe applications .
- Experience in engineering drawing interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) .
- Solid knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs .
- Experience with Atlas Copco electric tools , including programming, purchasing, and related activities.
- SAP proficiency.
- Knowledge of Enablon.
- Experience with PMO (Project Management Office) tools and project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Risk assessment expertise.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and tools such as PDCA and DMAIC .
- Proficiency in CATIA software.
