<b>Overview</b><br><p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI', sans-serif;">The Microsoft 365 Consumer Marketing Subscriber Engagement and Retention team plays an influential role in evolving the product and driving growth for Microsoft's consumer subscription businesses by nurturing, retaining, and growing the subscriber base. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to improve upgrade and retention experiences for Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased through third-party channels. You will help customers find the plan that best meets their needs and stay engaged throughout the subscription lifecycle. You will shape and execute strategies that make it easier for customers to upgrade or change plans across partner platforms and Microsoft 365 experiences. You will also identify meaningful moments in the customer journey where an upgrade can provide additional value and improve renewal outcomes across third-party channels. This high-impact role combines customer insight, creative problem-solving, and analytical rigor. You will partner across marketing, product, engineering, research, finance, and external platforms to develop and scale programs that improve customer value, retention, and revenue. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.</span></p><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><ul><li><span>Own the strategy and roadmap for subscription upgrades and plan changes across third-party channels.</span></li><li><span>Partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to launch and optimize customer upgrade experiences across app stores and other third-party channels.</span></li><li><span>Expand upgrade opportunities across Microsoft 365 experiences by connecting relevant customer needs with clear subscription value.Identify high-intent moments across the subscriber journey and improve how customers discover and evaluate upgrade options.</span></li><li><span>Design, run, and scale an experimentation roadmap across entry points, offers, notifications, and funnel design; establish the measurement frameworks needed to judge results and scale winning experiences across platforms and markets.</span></li><li><span>Improve renewal outcomes for subscribers acquired through third-party channels by identifying friction and developing targeted retention strategies.Build the business case for future lifecycle, upgrade, and monetization investment in third-party channels, using funnel, cohort, and renewal analysis to size and prioritize opportunities.</span></li><li><span>Propose and align on OKRs, revenue targets, and growth forecasts with partner teams, then drive execution against those goals through clear short and long-term investment recommendations.Present strategy, experiment results, and performance insights to senior leaders in business reviews, translating complex data into clear narratives that inform decisions.</span></li><li><span>Track and communicate progress against key results and broader business goals, serving as the go-to resource for stakeholders who need to understand upgrade, renewal, and revenue performance drivers in these channels.</span></li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Required/minimum qualifications:</span></h3><div><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business </span><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business </span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">OR equivalent experience.</span></li></ul></li></ul></div><h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Additional or preferred qualifications:</span></h3><div><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business </span><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business </span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">OR equivalent experience.</span></li></ul></li></ul></div> <br><br><p>Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year.
