Position: Senior Associate, Sales Operations

Employment Type: Contract - 18 months

Compensation Details:

- Sales Enabl. (Ops & Capab.) 15: Salaries typically range from $65,172, to $86,898 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.

Location:

- Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, with a current requirement of three in-office days per week.
- This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver.

Team Overview:

- The Sales Operations team is seeking a proactive, analytical, and resourceful Senior Associate to support business development professionals across EDC’s regional offices. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Operations, this role is part of a national team of Associates, Senior Associates, Advisors focused on enabling sales execution through effective processes, tools, data, and operational support.
- Working in a matrix environment, the Senior Associate will contribute to the overall success of both the Sales Operations team and regional offices by delivering high-quality service and supporting the consistent adoption and continuous improvement of national standards.

What you will be doing:

- Deliver high-quality operational support to frontline teams, completing sales activities within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and prioritize requests across shared intake channels, including ServiceNow, to support national work-sharing objectives.
- Execute transaction-related processes, including onboarding, due diligence, document review, and CRM updates, while maintaining data accuracy and governance standards.
- Provide responsive sales operations support to Regional Directors and Relationship Managers across EDC’s regional offices.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Relationship Managers to review CRM pipelines, advance new and renewal opportunities, and coordinate required documentation with internal and external partners.
- Communicate sales operations updates, process changes, and key requirements during regional office team meetings.
- Identify and support process improvements, change initiatives, and national standards that enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and adoption.
- Lead or support team initiatives and corporate projects by gathering and analyzing information, contributing to planning, and supporting effective execution.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Analytics, or a related field.
- Bilingualism in both official languages (French and English).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external partners.
- Experience working with CRM systems and managing data with a high degree of accuracy.

What will make you stand out:

- Experience in financial services, commercial lending, or a similar environment.
- Experience using ServiceNow CSM and/or Salesforce CRM.
