The U.S. Consumer Services Team (USCS) is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of U.S. Consumer Services and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering outstanding marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged Card Members across the customer lifecycle.
The Senior Manager, Customer Growth Direct Card Marketing sits within the Customer Growth arm of the Prospect, Partner & Customer Growth Team (i.e. the Performance Marketing arm of USCS) and will lead the charge to develop marketing strategies and oversee end-to-end execution of Email and Direct Mail campaigns for our existing Card Member base, including Cross-Sell, Upgrade and Standalone Supps, with the goal of driving incremental revenue on premium products.
This Senior Manager will develop compelling marketing creatives, modernize journeys, optimize targeting strategy, analyze robust campaign performance data, influence our team’s financial investment roadmap and ensure flawless operational execution to deliver our performance goals.
The role requires experience in developing marketing strategies and implementing those strategies in a fast-paced environment while successfully balancing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate should have a passion for marketing, have strong relationship management skills, be both analytic & creative, and have a proven track record of delivering results while driving innovation.
- Experience in developing & executing marketing; with Email, Direct Mail or Digital Marketing preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills including attention to detail, handling multiple priorities, managing timelines, driving flawless execution
- Customer centric marketer who can translate insights into strategies
- Strategic thought starter who can develop a vision linked to organizational goals, but also deliver work with consistence, independence, and will-to-win excitement
- Quick learning agility and a “can do” attitude towards problem solving
- High proficiency in Excel; comfortable managing robust data sets complex data and proven ability to derive actionable insights
- Expert ability to build and manage relationships across band-levels to influence internal and external partners across multiple work streams to deliver results
- Superior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience leading colleagues, directly or indirectly
