- Requires education equivalent to a college degree in mathematics, statistics or related field; or the equivalent in related work experience.
- At least 4 years of analytical experience in mathematical, financial, or insurance field and or education equivalent to a college degree in an information technology related or business administratione related discipline, or the
- Ability to reprioritize as needed in order to meet deliverable due dates appropriately
- Analytical ability to gather and study facts and data and draw correct inferences from the data: identify root causes of problems and create solutions; identify inefficient business processes and recommends technological or process improvements.
- Ability to identify and understand customer needs; takes appropriate action to ensure that customer needs are met. Based on level of expertise, probes beyond stated requests and proactively meets customer needs.
- Ability to initiate independent action to resolve problems and issues and to achieve desired results.
- Ability to present work in an organized manner; identify specific activities required to complete reporting and analytical review in a timely manner. Anticipates peak periods and manages work load activities.
- Ability to cooperate with others tactfully and diplomatically, on projects which require input from various sources working together to develop a final product. Confronts and resolves conflicts while maintaining relationships.
- Ability to effectively use and design automated tools and processes to more efficiently analyze and report data to internal and external customers.
- Ability to organize qualitative and quantitative information in a clear and concise manner so that it can be understood by the intended audience, regardless of position or organization
