3rd shift: 2-2-3 Schedule, 6pm 6am Job Description As a Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring environmental compliance and maintaining the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing operations. You will focus on environmental monitoring, pest control, leak control, and GMP compliance while spending a significant amount of time on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities

- Conduct environmental monitoring and pest control activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards on the manufacturing floor.
- Respond to leaks, pest sightings, and environmental issues promptly.
- Write investigations and deviations, and develop Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement corrective actions.
- Document deviations and investigations, and assist with SOP writing.
- Handle 1-2 deviations at a time and work closely with QA Technicians.
- Conduct daily and formal GMP audits on the floor.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to co-own GMP, pest, leaks, and zoning programs.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple programs and responsibilities.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
- 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment.
- 2+ years of GMP experience in food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills and coaching mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- PCQI certification for human food is a plus.
- HACCP certification is a plus.
- Experience in pre-requisite programs, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Working knowledge of pathogens and environmental monitoring.
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with cGMPs and FDA requirements.

Work Environment You will spend approximately 50% of your time on the manufacturing floor and 50% in an office setting. The Quality Specialist - Hygienist role requires more floor presence compared to a QA Engineer. You will be part of a team consisting of 2 QA Hygienists on day shifts and 2 on night shifts, working closely with Associate Quality Engineers and QA Technicians.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eau Claire, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $35.58/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
