The Inventory Control Clerk is a crucial role in conducting all aspects of Operations within our client's assigned business project portfolio and our internal policies and procedures. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy within the warehouse by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse operations teams. The position is a first-shift role working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hour, paid weekly.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze inventory reports and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure system accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Review and analyze inventory reports within the WMS.
- Research root causes of inventory variances and communicate findings to supervisors or managers.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and system corrections when necessary.
- Support receiving and shipping teams with inventory-related questions or issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory investigations and adjustments.
- Assist with year-end inventory audits and customer inventory reconciliations.
- Work with operations teams to identify process improvements that improve inventory accuracy.
- Maintain organized records and reports related to inventory activities.

## What we would like you to bring

- 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory control experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment using a WMS system
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, spreadsheet organization)
- 1-3 years experience driving a forklift (Reach) truck
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
