Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Montreal-Nord, QC site located on Bd Albert-Hudon is looking for a new Distribution Center Shift Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics team.

## How you create impact

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution and operational performance within an assigned area or shift in a Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics facility operating under a 4PL model. While warehouse activities are primarily performed by a 4PL partner, the Supervisor acts as Kuehne+Nagel’s on-floor representative, ensuring operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with KPIs, SOPs, and customer requirements.

This position supports a 24/7 operation, and schedules are assigned based on business needs. From October 19, 2026, through January 15, 2027, all employees will work night shift hours only, with shifts scheduled from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM on either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Employees will work four 10-hour shifts per week and will not be scheduled to work seven days per week. Following the initial implementation period, schedules and shift assignments may be adjusted or rotated based on operational requirements. Specific schedules will be confirmed after the employee's start date.

- Coordinate daily operations to ensure execution aligns with operational plans, priorities, and schedules.
- Monitor shift performance, including productivity, service levels, quality, and backlog management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for 4PL operational leads and shift management.Ensure appropriate staffing, process compliance, and operational readiness across assigned areas.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate operational risks, service issues, and performance concerns.
- Promote compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards while reinforcing safe work practices.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of operational, productivity, and quality issues.
- Track, validate, and communicate operational KPIs, shift performance metrics, and key updates.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and participate in shift handovers and daily meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, implementing solutions, and ensuring adherence to SOPs.

## What we would like you to bring

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in  French  and English (English-speaking clients)

- Experience working in outsourced, managed ‑ services, or contract logistics environments.

- Solid understanding of warehouse processes and operational KPIs.

- Ability to coordinate work and drive outcomes without direct authority.
