ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following duties include, but are not limited to:

- Greet and assist all guests with a positive, helpful attitude while identifying their parts and accessory needs.

- Recommend appropriate Harley-Davidson Genuine Parts, accessories, riding gear, and related products based on customer needs.

- Assist customers with parts identification, product availability, pricing, and compatibility.

- Review and follow up on pending special orders and notify guests when parts arrive or provide updated ETAs.

- Process parts sales, orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked parts counter and sales area.

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stocking needs or opportunities to management.

- Assist customers with locating and ordering parts for motorcycles

- Follow up with customers on special orders, quotes, and outstanding parts requests.

- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals by utilizing available dealership resources and providing excellent customer service.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Complete daily checklists and assigned department tasks.

- Complete all Company required and OEM product training.

- Serve as backup cashier when needed.

- Stay current on Harley-Davidson models, Genuine Parts, accessories, and aftermarket products.

- Maintain familiarity with parts catalogs and dealership ordering systems.

- Assist with parts receiving, stocking, labeling, and inventory organization.

- Assist with Service Department parts requests and special orders.

- Communicate inventory, product, and customer service improvement ideas to management.

- Maintain accurate customer and order information in dealership systems.

- Assist with warranty-related parts requests and documentation when needed.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Employee will predominantly be walking or standing.

- Must be able to talk and hear and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.

- Must be able to reach with hands and arms.

- Must be able to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous Harley-Davidson parts experience required, including familiarity with Harley-Davidson parts, fitment, and motorcycle components.

- Motorcycle License is a plus.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- This position reports directly to the Parts & Apparel Manager.
