The primary responsibilities for this position include the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance on Manufacturing Operations programs as an Operations Execution Manager (OEM).

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Leading the Manufacturing Operations team on projects assigned to you and maintain the day-to-day interface / communication with the partner functions assigned: Program Management Office (PMO), Mission Assurance (MA), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Engineering, etc.
- Comprehend and report on Manufacturing Operations status at the required level of detail to the Program Manager, Sector Executive Management, and customers.
- Serve as a lead for Manufacturing Operations proposal development activity.
- Ensure Manufacturing has the resources needed and that they are allocated appropriately to execute the programs assigned to you.
- Work with cross-functional teams to set and clearly articulate goals/priorities as well as communicate them to key stakeholders. Identify and resolve issues impacting performance objectives.
- D evelopment of and adherence to master production schedules.
- D evelopment of and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques.
- Implement thorough risk & opportunity management practices, including identification, mitigation, and realization.
- Ensure the Operations team understands and adheres to the contract scope and manages change through control board activities.

Basic Qualifications for the Manager Production Operations 2 - OEM:

- A Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of relevant work experience in engineering, manufacturing or business management or 6 or more years of relevant work experience in engineering, manufacturing or business management with a Master's degree.
- Experience leading projects or initiatives in an operations-focused program or management role (e.g., Operations Program Manager or comparable position).
- Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance per business requirements (US citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications for the Manager Production Operations 2 - OEM:

- Experience with development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Experience with data mining/manipulation software tools.

- Experience representing manufacturing as a subject matter expert at Non-Advocate Reviews / Independent Cost Evaluations (NARICE).

- Experience with Post-Production Support activity including managing repair activity.
- Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Investigation type activities and/or Continuous improvement techniques.

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,800.00 - $209,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
