Job Title: Onsite Medical Representative (Medical Representative Edgemere, MD) Job Description The Onsite Medical Representative supports a fast-paced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team by providing first aid, health guidance, and safety support to associates in an industrial environment. This role independently assesses and administers first aid for occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, coordinates care with external medical providers, and actively promotes health, wellness, and injury prevention. The Onsite Medical Representative collaborates closely with WHS leadership and other safety professionals to maintain a safe work environment and ensure consistent, high-quality medical support onsite. Responsibilities

- Independently assess and administer first aid for occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses to onsite associates.
- Provide first aid support and make timely referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
- Educate and guide associates on health, wellness, and safe work practices to minimize the risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all care provided to associates.
- Coordinate and maintain workers compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries.
- Prepare and submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports to document care and safety activities.
- Engage regularly with associates and site leadership on the operations floor to coach and correct observed at-risk work habits.
- Support safety operations by participating as an active member of the onsite WHS team and attending weekly associate safety committee meetings.
- Greet new hires at the site and provide orientation on health, safety, and wellness resources.
- Participate in weekly case management review meetings as needed to support injured associates and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, organized medical workspace and ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies and equipment are available at all times.
- Participate in training and certification activities to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certification classes for associates.
- Maintain current first aid, CPR, and AED credentials and ensure compliance with all required certifications.
- Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Provide effective care delivery in emergencies and assist with emergency response activities at the site.
- Learn and apply OSHA regulations, risk analysis principles, and best practices related to workplace health and safety.
- Support injury prevention initiatives, including coaching on ergonomics, body mechanics, and safe work behaviors.
- Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as required to support site operations.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during the course of the shift.
- Stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts in a large industrial facility.
- Work safely in environments with variable noise levels and changing temperatures, including areas such as outside loading departments.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs, where applicable, to reach different areas of the facility.

Essential Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved emergency cardiac care provider.
- Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic (NRP) certification from a Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), or current active Athletic Trainer Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent state certification.
- Ability to obtain an adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within three weeks of start date if not already held.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Edgemere, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
