Facilities Engineering Manager

Job Title: Facilities Engineering Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of Facility Engineers and BIM Designers. The role involves supporting operations, utility systems, and facility expansion projects at a major manufacturing facility. You will oversee infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, wastewater, fire/life safety, process utilities, cleanroom, and dry room systems, while driving reliability, capacity, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of Facility Engineers and BIM Designers.
- Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, wastewater, and fire/life safety systems.
- Drive reliability, capacity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage capital projects, contractor relationships, and facility upgrades from design through construction.
- Conduct design reviews and oversee construction activities.
- Develop project scope, budget, and schedule in collaboration with architects, engineers, and construction teams.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Utilize KPIs for cross-functional team leadership.

Essential Skills

- 7+ years of engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Strong experience in managing capital projects and facility upgrades.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical engineering.
- Experience in HVAC design and construction management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with cleanroom and dry room facilities.
- Experience in battery, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Visio.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls.
- Familiarity with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
- Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and compliance.
- Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in multi-site or large campus facility management.

Work Environment This position is located at the Gigafactory in Sparks, NV, situated at the TRI Center off USA Parkway. The facility occupies a significant portion of the factory space, and the commute past Sparks, NV can experience heavy traffic. The work environment is fast-paced, focused on capital projects and facility expansion, and involves cross-functional leadership in a manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.50 - $85.09/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
