Maintenance Technician

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Liquid Fuels Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, inspection, and repair of fuel system infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0-2 years of experience who are interested in developing their skills in fuel systems maintenance, construction support, and field operations. The technician will work closely with project teams, facility personnel, and subcontractors to support project activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. This position does require interisland travel as facilities are located at local airports. This position also does require a clean background as you are required to obtain clearances for the airports. - Assist with maintenance, repair, inspection, and minor construction projects involving fuel systems.
- Follow established safety procedures and support site health and safety compliance requirements.
- Work with project managers, facility representatives, and subcontractors to complete assigned tasks.
- Participate in daily field meetings and communicate project updates as needed.
- Support quality control activities and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily field logs, reports, and photographic documentation of completed work.
- Assist in identifying and resolving basic equipment or system issues.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Travel to project sites as required.

Required Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of maintenance, mechanical, construction, industrial, military, or related technical experience.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience performing basic preventive maintenance and inspections

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
