The Project : Perform field audits of environmental documentation and field activities. Monitoring of activities includes preparation of written reports documenting environmental construction compliance. Must be able to review and write technical reports and attend on-site meetings. The ECFI will be responsible for reviewing the Construction Work Plans and regular reporting on compliance with FEIS/ROD and environmental permitting requirements.

You’ll Be Responsible For :

- Provide oversight of construction as it relates to environmental compliance
- Support contract administration of environmental/remediation programs including tracking: schedule, size of excavation, tonnages of soils moving on and off site.
- Prepare daily activity reports
- Ability to interpret scientific data and specifications
- Conduct environmental screenings, site assessments, and impact analyses for civil works, infrastructure, facility, and construction projects.
- Track projects through the NEPA and environmental permitting lifecycles.
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies; installation personnel; project managers; utilities; contractors; and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance on environmental regulations, permit requirements, and compliance strategies.
- Support environmental compliance programs, stormwater management, waste management, and construction environmental controls.
- Review project-specific Environmental Protection Plans and verify compliance during pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities.
- Support site approval packages and coordinate required documentation with installation personnel.
- Maintain environmental compliance actions, milestones, regulatory reporting requirements, and performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support multiple concurrent task orders.

You’ll need to have

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Planning, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of related experience, depending on level; experienced candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience with NEPA documentation, environmental planning, permitting, compliance, and impact analysis.
- Experience supporting federal facilities, infrastructure, construction, investigation, or remediation projects.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws, regulations, policies, and permitting requirements.
- Strong technical writing, communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively on teams and manage multiple projects.
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and perform field work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and discipline-specific environmental, GIS, or data-management software.
- Ability to obtain required site-access credentials. et.

Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $140k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
