Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and management regarding maintenance requests and project updates.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of facility systems.
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours situations.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred; healthcare, senior living, or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
